all-seeing-eyeLithroy is the In Nomine archangel of Revelation. His domain includes truth, honesty, news, research, and of course the end of times and the glory of heaven. There is a whole genre of revelation songs within Christian music.

It is grand, schmaltzy, uncritical, and indubitably uplifting to those who already believe. Given some of my thoughts on Litherites, it crossed my mind to make a full song set of the stuff. But since I’ve got to listen to this playlist too, I’ve opted for an assortment of songs I can tolerate.

If there are songs you care to share dealing with either the Book of Revelation, or “Revelation” the Word – please suggest them in the comments below.
