By canon, Michael was tried by Seraphim Council and found guilty. He remained an angel because of Divine Intervention, but what would have happened if G-d stayed its awesome and ineffable hand?
Mika’el, Prince of Hubris (Pride)
Mika’el has always been victim to the sin of pride. He is the best, he deserves, the best, and in hell he has enough might to ensure that he gets it. Ba’al is perhaps disappointed in the path Mika’el has taken, but their rivalry has gotten even more friendly of late.
I have previously proposed Lucifuge Rofocale as a Prince of Pride. Mika’el offers a different vision of that word, and could easily act as a 2nd Pride if you want both to have existed within your game.
It is dissonant for Mika’el’s servitors to lose.

Michail, Prince of the Dominion of Heaven
The gates of heaven may be barred to Michail, but the War rages on. While not quite so popular as Lucifer, Michail was still able to rally a great deal of of the host to join him in exile as he fights to “reclaim Hell for Heaven.”
In terms of strategy, this means that Michail and his followers would focus on corrupting the faithful without undermining their faith. The more “loyal servants of god” they can get in hell, the better staffed and supplied their army will be.
This option works especially well if a good portion of the game will be taking place in Hell.
Being called a demon (without pummeling the offender into the ground).
Gain 2 Essence upon capturing or killing a hostile demon of the same band.
Maykl, Prince of Tolerance
If the Seraphim Council doesn’t want war or heroes, Maykl will do his best to make sure they don’t see either – or at least none that matter. While assertive as and Archangel, as a Demon Prince this version of Michael is a master of passive aggression. His new objective is to keep the peace, no matter how unfair. As a master strategist is deeply familiar with the Archangels’ motives and capabilities, Maykl is well situated to keep them from making any progress without war.
