At Will Posting

28 Tuesday May 2019

Hi everyone. Thank you for all your support over the last few years.

This post is serving as a heads up: I am switching to an “at will” posting schedule for the foreseeable future. This will be a reduction from the previous 1-2 posts/week.

I have some new projects that are eating up much of the time that was previously dedicated to this blog – and I am living with roommates (which was not the case a year ago), so a certain amount of undedicated time has been going to communal activities, chores, and projects rather than musings on the political lives of angels and demons.

Unlike my prior writing breaks, I do not have a backlog of pre-written posts to fill the intervening months.

Sometimes there will be stuff, most of the time there will not.

If you’re writing In Nomine content, please feel free to plug your own blogs/forums/&c. in the comments.

Adventure Hook, In Nomine, Soldier, The Hu

A previously reliable Soldier has gone rogue.

She is not working for heaven. She is not working for hell. She does not stand beside others. She is instead using her impressive array of skills and songs to look after hre own fortunes.

Digging will reveal that she recently came into possession of a lupine fetish (and the spirit of individualism within has come into possession of her). Should either side attempt to retrieve or recruit the Solder or her new Ethereal Patron, the pair shall use all means at their disposal to remain free.

Adventure Hook, Burning Peppermints, Dominic, In Nomine, Seraph

The PC’s have broken heaven’s rules for the last time. Whether or not they deserve in, the party has come to the attention of a determined and belligerent Seraph of Dominic who is convinced that one or more of them must be sinners deserving of heaven’s punishment.

Those who have come to Dominic’s attention previously might wonder why their interrogator is acting outside a trinity. If this question comes up, the Seraph will state that they are elsewhere or that they are otherwise occupied.

However, if they players do some digging of their own they may realize that their interrogator has been putting in extra hours, roughing up every angel in the area who has ever committed a transgression, no matter how small or how long ago.

The reason is simple enough – the Seraph is itself dissonant and is covering up its own fear and dysphoria with ever greater anger, desperately hoping that a surprise bust could offset some if the unexpected celestial deafness it’s dissonant behavior has brought about.

Nocent Docent, “Angel” of Hard Knocks

Sigil of Lilith - Provenance UnknownLike many a Stone, Nocent Docent believes in tough love. Admittedly, David no longer speaks to her, but her loss has only made her harder and stronger – and eventually inspired her to seek out the strongest woman she knows: Lilith.

The two struck an accord that placed the (fallen) angel within the mortal’s service. Continue reading →
