Phew! I made it.

At this point, I think I just have to admit that a mid-year burnout is part of my process. However, for all that I did finish the bulk of my 25th Anniversary ode to In Nomine.

It may not have had all the posts or quality control that I’d originally hope for, but I have revisited almost every Archangel and Demon Prince, introduced some new songs, and also checked in on a number of the Ethereal Pantheons.

It is also likely my last major In Nomine project for awhile.

Although I never said as much, this year has been a test of whether I could stick to a single major writing project over several months. While I didn’t *quite* succeed, I came close enough for me to feel that it’s time for me to challenge myself to some other sorts of writing projects.

There are some isolated angels I have stumbled across who are simply too fun to leave without write ups, and some old projects I may finally go back and revisit, but the days of weekly posts to this blog are likely over.

I hope that over the course of the next year I will put out PDFs of what I consider to be my 3 completed projects on this blog:

  • Superiors: Janus
  • The Duchies of Hell
  • In Nomine: 25 Years Later

And if I’m being honest, I’ll probably use the opportunities to make some additional tweaks, edits, and commentary. But whatever I decide, it’ll be taking a back seat to my new adventures.
