Origins
Unknown, presumably some sort of Angel

Likely Inspiration

Unknown. The most common fan theory is that Gebbeleth is the child of Geb (either an Ethereal or a Pseudonym for David) and Beleth.

It is also possible he was inspired by Gebath. I am working on an unofficial write-up that takes this later approach.
